Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026
These terms govern your use of the QueuePe app and website ("the platform"). QueuePe connects Clients who need someone to hold their place in a queue with independent verified Standers who provide that service. QueuePe is not affiliated with any government office, hospital or bank.
1. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and resident in India.
- One account per person per role type; you may hold both Client and Stander roles but may not book yourself.
- Your WhatsApp number is your login identity. Keep OTPs private — you are responsible for activity on your account.
2. Bookings & Standers
- A booking is a request for a Stander to physically wait in a queue on your behalf until near your arrival.
- Standers are independent contractors, not employees. A Stander holding your place does not guarantee entry, document acceptance, or any outcome of the office's process itself.
- Clients must arrive before the turn alert lapses. If the Client misses the window after a near-turn notification, the job is treated as completed for payout purposes.
- Standers must check in truthfully via the app at the venue. Falsified geo check-ins result in permanent suspension and forfeiture of pending earnings.
- Only official documents belonging to the Client (or persons they are authorised to represent) may be involved. Presenting forged documents is illegal and reported to authorities.
3. Payments, fees & refunds
- Pricing is hourly plus a fixed platform fee, displayed before you confirm. All amounts are in Indian Rupees through Razorpay.
- Cancellation by Client: free while the booking is pending/matched; once a Stander has checked in, fees already accrued up to cancellation apply.
- No-show by Stander: full automatic refund to the Client's original payment method.
- Stander payouts: released from the wallet ledger after job completion; processing time depends on your bank.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use QueuePe for queues involving proxy appearance where the law requires personal presence (e.g., court testimony), for resale of appointments, or to harass Standers or staff. We may suspend accounts that abuse the platform, attempt payment fraud, or violate these terms.
5. Liability
The platform is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, QueuePe's total liability for any claim is limited to the fee paid for the affected booking. We are not liable for outcomes of the underlying government/bank process, including counter decisions, delays by venue staff, or document rejections.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, subject to mandatory consumer-protection forums where applicable.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in-app at least 7 days before taking effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
